gifresize.com is a free GIF resizer that runs in your web browser. This page explains what we do and do not collect.

Your GIF files stay on your device

All GIF processing happens locally in your browser. We do not upload your files to gifresize.com or to any other server. We cannot see, store, or share the GIFs you resize. If you close the tab, the in-memory copy of your file is discarded.

Information we do not collect

We do not create accounts. We do not ask for your name, email, or payment details to use the tool.

• No file uploads
• No processing logs of your GIFs
• No user profiles

Theme preference

If you use the dark mode switch, we store a single value (gifresize-theme) in your browser's localStorage so the site can remember light or dark. That value never leaves your device.

Cookies and advertising

The GIF resizer itself does not set cookies to process files. This site may display Google AdSense ads in reserved slots. If ads are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads, including ads based on prior visits to this or other sites. Hosting and server logs

The static website is hosted on a CDN. The host may record standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the page URL) for security and reliability. Those logs are about page visits, not about GIF files, because files are not uploaded.
